The planning for my photo shoot

For my photo shoot I wanted it to look like a new up and coming band that are really getting big. One major influence to how I actually wanted my magazine to look was the 'NME' Nirvana special, i really liked the way the image of the band looked and decided to base my own magazine loosely on this front cover. I decided i was going to do my photo shoot in and around my own house to get that new band kind of feel. I took a variety of shots with different angles and modified them on Photoshop, i then decided which was the best for a front cover. I decided to use 3 people in my shoots and named my made up band 'Berlin Airlift.' I really wanted this shoot to look original and eye catching so I asked my models to dress in old school Rock/mod clothing, i thought it looked really effective, i also used my guitar to get that band feel to the pictures. In my photo shoot i used Tom Parr, Harry Kelly and Sean Fay, the permission slips ans details will be uploaded to the blog soon.
